Session rooms will be equipped with a PC computer. In order to provide the highest quality experience for our attendees, ASM requires that all speakers upload their presentations at least one hour before their session begins. To upload your presentation, please visit the Speaker Ready Room (Taft Room) onsite with your presentation uploaded to a "thumb drive." A technician will be available to help ensure your presentation is properly uploaded.
Evidence-Based, Non-Commercial Presentations
ASM requires that all presentations be evidence-based and by themselves or in conjunction with other presentations, give a balanced view of therapeutic options. Commercial, company, or product logos or watermarks are not permitted on slides and when unlabeled or investigational uses of a drug or device are discussed, they must be labeled/identified as such in your presentation. The use of generic names contributes to impartiality. If trade names are used in your presentation, you must also use the trade names of other companies’ products as well.
Please be advised that it is ASM’s policy that, while presenters are allowed to communicate with the press, their discussions may not be published until after the day and time of the actual presentation. Policy is in effect until January 27, 2014.
