Registration Rates

The 10th ASM Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Research Meeting conference registration fee includes all conference materials (Final Program/Abstracts Book and Exhibitor Guide), all scheduled meals, welcome reception, refreshment breaks, access to all sessions, and the Exhibit Hall. Fees are listed below:

On-site Registration

Registration will be located at the West Registration Desk from Sunday, February 26th - Tuesday, February 28th of the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

Change/Cancellation Information

Cancellation and change requests must be received by February 17, 2012 to qualify for a refund less a $50.00 cancellation processing fee.  No refunds will be issued for cancellation and changes received after February 17, 2012.  Refunds will be processed based on the original form of payment within 60 days of the close of the meeting.  No-shows will be charged the full registration fee.  Registrations are not transferable.

Criteria for Special Rates

Member Rates
To be eligible for member rates, ASM membership numbers that are current for 2012 must be included when registering. Membership numbers are verified by the registration company. ASM reserves the right to charge the higher non member rate without notification if a member number is not included or cannot be verified. For membership information, please contact the Membership Department at 202-942-9319 or visit the membership section of the ASM web site at www.asm.org.

Students
Registrants requesting student fees must provide either a legible photocopy of a current University ID or a letter on University letterhead from the department chair, indicating your status and anticipated graduation date. Only undergraduate through pre-doctoral students are eligible for the student rate.

Guests
Guests may not attend scientific sessions but will have access to exhibits, posters, lunch and the reception during the meeting. Guest fees do apply.

Badge Pick-up Policy
Badges will only be issued to the attendee of record upon presentation of government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license or passport. All Biodefense attendees are required to wear conference badges on-site at all times. Badges give you access to sessions, exhibit hall, workshops, socials and all meals including the welcome reception. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have your badge at all times. There is a charge of $100 for badge replacement. No exceptions will be made.
