Dear Previous and Prospective Exhibitors:

Welcome to the Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Meeting 2008. Approximately 1,000 leaders and decision makers in the field of biodefense will participate in this important conference to discuss the critical research necessary to defend against the growing threat of bioterrorism and shape the future of the biodefense research agenda.

The meeting will include keynote addresses by the best and brightest scientific talent in academia, government, and industry on up-to-the-minute cutting-edge research on biothreat agents, vaccines, detection and diagnostic procedures, animal and plant pathogens, global surveillance, and other vital topics. To accommodate the demand for information regarding Bioterrorism, Biodefense, and emerging diseases, ASM is pleased to offer exhibit space and expanded sponsorships.

Biodefense Exhibits will be held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel beginning Sunday, February 24 through Tuesday, February 26.

Standard booths are 8' x 10' and are $1,800 USD.  Booths including standard booth furnishings (one 6' draped table, two chairs, one wastebasket) will be $2,100 USD.

Exhibits will be interspersed with poster sessions. Lunches and evening receptions will be held in the Poster/Exhibit Hall.
