The 5th Annual ASM Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Research Meeting was held February 27- March 2, 2007 in Washington, DC. The 2007 meeting continued the success of ASM's four previous Biodefense Meetings as an important scientific research event. This meeting brought together top scientists conducting critical research to defend against the growing threat of bioterrorism and decision makers shaping the future biodefense research agenda.
