The 2004 ASM Biodefense Research Meeting, held March 7-10, 2004, in Baltimore, Maryland, continued the success of ASM's first Biodefense Meeting held in 2003 as an important scientific research event. The meeting featured an impressive line-up of speakers, poster presentations and pre-meeting workshops, and was extremely well-received by the over 700 scientists in attendance.
