Dear Colleagues,

 

The 6th Annual ASM Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Research Meeting is scheduled for February 24-27, 2008 in Baltimore, MD.

 

The purpose of this meeting is to bring together individuals who are carrying out research to defend against the growing threat of bioterrorism and decision makers shaping the future biodefense research agenda, recognizing that emerging infectious diseases serve as a paradigm for handling the public threat of bioterrorism.

Abstract results have been sent to the presenting authors of record. The email notification was sent from mailbox asmbiodefense@abstractsonlin.com.

At the request of the Progarm Committee, disposition emails are delayed and will be sent to all contact authors on December 11.

The Invited Speaker Program for the meeting is now available. You may view the program through our Program Viewer or download a copy of the program in pdf format.

Abstract Review has started
All complete abstracts have been forwarded to the Program Committee for review and acceptance. All Abstract Presenters will be notified by email from asmbiodefense@abstractsonline.com on December 7, 2007 with the results.

Abstract submissions remain open
You may continue ot submit your abstracts until midnight on November 16. Abstracts submissions that have established a tracking number in the OASIS system but are incomplete may be completed until November 20. Abstracts that remain incomplete after November 20 will not be reviewed for acceptance by the Program Committee.

Meeting Registration is now Open
Discounted pre-registration for the meeting is available on-line, by mail or fax until January 25, 2008. On-site registration will be available.
